Life is good and meant to be enjoyed. But things can get in the way of this enjoyment. Let me help! Together, we will identify your stresses and work to resolve them. One of my greatest joys is helping people find the root of their pain and weed it out. While we do this, we’ll work on coping skills and strategies to bring joy back into your day-to-day activities. I work with children, adults, couples, and families. In a safe space where you are valued, I will walk with you in a compassionate, non-judgemental, culturally and spiritually sensitive manner, to bring you to your place of emotional wellness.
I use a combination of evidence-based techniques unique for each client. Some of the therapies I use include solution- focused, cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness, emotionally-focused therapy, family systems therapy, and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). I start by listening to and reflecting on your needs and together we decide what your goals are for counselling. You are the author of your sessions!
When not working at Talk Therapy Services, I have a full-time position counselling children and their families. My family, including my fuzzy ones, and my spirituality keep me focused. We enjoy exploring this beautiful world, finding peace in the small things in life. I’m an avid movie fan, enjoy cooking and reading, and want to learn to knit or crochet.
