Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’ve been carrying difficult experiences on your own for a long time. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. You can just show up as you are, and we’ll take it from there, together.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with youth (15+) and adults, supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual violence and relationship trauma. My approach is warm, collaborative, and guided by what feels safe and manageable for you. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely comfortable being yourself—without pressure, judgment, or the need to have the “right” words.
I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and make sense of overwhelming or stuck experiences. Rather than only talking about what happened, EMDR allows us to work through how those experiences are still impacting you today—so they begin to feel less intense, less intrusive, and more integrated into your story.
Alongside EMDR, I incorporate parts work to help you understand the different sides of yourself—especially the parts that may feel protective, overwhelmed, or stuck. We approach these parts with curiosity and compassion, not judgment, so you can begin to feel more balanced, grounded, and connected within yourself. I also draw from attachment-based approaches when it’s helpful, particularly when relationships, trust, or sense of self have been impacted.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or simply ready to better understand yourself, therapy can be a space to slow things down and make sense of what you’ve been carrying. My goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, more in control, and more like yourself again.
You don’t have to do this alone—I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
